The Big Maker's was born in Santa Marta with a simple idea: students, entrepreneurs and engineering teams could go from sketch to physical part without relying on imports or impossible lead times.
What started with 3D printing and rapid prototypes evolved into an integrated workshop — CNC, PCB assembly, Klipper firmware and technical training — headquartered at Edificio Petecuy in the heart of the city.
More than 500 people have gone through our hands-on programs. Today we support theses, hardware startups and industrial pilots with the local advantage of iterating in hours: a new board, a new part, a new firmware revision.
Engineers, shop technicians and firmware specialists at the same table — from Gerber review to fine-tuning an industrial printer.
Mechanical design, fixtures, technical signage and large-format machining with shop validation.
Board review, SMD assembly, reflow oven and documentation for pilot production.
FDM/SLA fleet operation, technical material selection and finishing for prototypes and short runs.
Klipper deployment, industrial macros, input shaping and support for print or CNC fleets.
1200×2400 mm work area. Machining wood, polymers and non-ferrous metals.
Serial production with technical thermoplastics (PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon CF).
High-resolution resin printing for fine-detail prototyping.
SMD soldering station, reflow oven and assisted assembly.
Industrial digitization with up to 0.05 mm precision for reverse engineering.
CAD design, fabrication and innovation workshops for makers and companies.
Large-scale part machining with industrial precision. Ideal for technical signage, fixtures and experimental molds.
Fleet optimized for continuous production — from one-off prototypes to short runs in record time.
